Infants - 6th Grade

Our mission is to ignite a passion in our children to love, serve, and follow Jesus.

Our children are taught about the Lord and how they can follow Christ in their home, school and community.  They engage in worship, teaching, hands on learning in small groups, discussions and prayer time. They are led by a wonderfully committed group of teachers who are passionate about transforming lives through the power of Jesus Christ.

Children's Ministry is available during the Wednesday Night Bible Study for Infants - Pre-K. Pioneer Clubs is for students in Kindergarten - 6th Grade.

Pulse Youth Group

"For God did not give us a spirit of timidity; but of power, of love, and of self-discipline." 2 Timothy 1:7

PULSE is the 7th-12thgrade youth group ministry of Calvary Chapel Central Bucks.

Wednesdays at 7 PM in the Upper Room

Our youth are normally students from public, private, and home school students in the area of Central Bucks. Our primary goals are to teach God's word with relevance in the lives of the youth and build community and love among the youth through the unity of the Holy Spirit.

PULSE was derived from 2 Timothy 1:7. In Paul’s letter to his protégé Timothy, we see in verse 6, Paul encouraging Timothy to fan into flame the gift of God that was burning within Timothy. This gift, of course, is the Holy Spirit. We are always encouraging each other and our Youth to stoke that Spiritual fire that is within us. God wants to burn brightly within us, so that our sinful desires will burn away, and our eternal identity, our life hidden in Christ, will glow to this dark and lost world. In verse 7, Paul goes on to say “For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of POWER, of LOVE and of SELF-DISCIPLINE.”

God’s love and power will do great things in and through us if we seek him and are disciplinedto resist the enemy. Sin is always the obstacle to God’s Plans to spiritually prosper us. Thus the acronym “PLS” was formed. This led to a nickname “Pulse” which also has to do with our heart beat. We check whether we are physically  alive or dead by checking our pulse.  In the same way, we also need to check our spiritual pulse, to see if we are living the spiritual life.

The question we need to ask ourselves, is, am I living the Spiritual Life that I am called to live. Is my heart beating for God’s purpose, or am I still conforming to the patterns of this world?

Galatians 2:20, Colossians 3:3 and Romans 12:2

We meet weekly for worship, fellowship, small groups, and relevant Bible teaching for teens. Our focus is to build up one another as men and women in the ways and will of the Lord. In addition, we also meet for fun, fellowship and to learn God's word. Join us in the Upper Room!

Child Security

Our goal is to provide a safe and secure environment for your children while they learn about God and worship Him. To help achive this goal all children must be "checked-in" at one of the following check-in locations:

Ignite Room (entrance to the left of the Solid Rock Cafe)
Fellowship Hall (church building)
Upper Room (brick building across parking lot)

Sample Check-in TagCheck-in / Security Procedure:

  • Start at any of the check-in locations. One of our Children's Ministry volunteers will check-in your family and give you a pick-up slip and each of your children a nametag (with a matching security code) that allows you to pick them up quickly at the end of the service.
  • In the event that we need to reach you during the service, we will page you using the 3 digit alphanumeric code that is located on your pickup slip that also matches the number on each of your children's nametags. There are LED displays located in both front corners of the sanctuary and there is also an LED display in the Cafe that will display pager numbers when needed.
  • Please let us know if your child has any allergies or special instructions when you drop them off.
  • When you pick up your children please show the Children's Ministry staff your pickup slip.
