Dear Parents and family,
I just want to say thank you for all your prayers. We know that we are being prayed for as we continue on this week. This week has been another amazing week – our God continues to touch our lives , break down our defenses and connect our hearts with each other and the people of Butler. This is our last day here and there is always a sense of sadness when we know we are leaving in a day – the Lord has placed on all our hearts His desire for us to worship and adore Him, to keep Him on the throne of our lives. As we go thru out the day, and have another outreach /picnic for family and friends in the park later this evening, pray that they would join us in worship to our Lord and Savior and that together we would lay down our idols, and worship our Lord and Savior alone.

Thanks, and blessing to you all – your kids are all doing really well – you would be proud of them.

In Him, Betty

This Morning my group went to a lady’s house, her name was Amy.  When we got there we met her son, Coleton.  Emily & I went upstairs right away and cleaned her bathroom, after that we went to the kitchen and cleaned her oven.  She went out to get few things with her son and Tom sat us down and told us her story, then we prayed f or her right there in her living room.  This afternoon my team was in charge of Vacation Bible School, we played Red Light-Green Light, played with the parachute, sang songs, and John spoke the lesson while his group acted it out.  We had dinner and worship at the Brown House tonight.  We had pizza and the worship was amazing!!!

Hi this is Hannah Komita and today, in the morning, my group worked on what’s called the Brown House. we worked on it yesterday and today we were just working on the fence and fixing it up and painting it. it was actually a lot of fun. then in the afternoon, we had VBS for the kids. my puppet group performed for them and the kids seemed to really enjoy them. during VBS, I was playing with this little boy Josh. he was really sad when i left and i just saw his eyes light up when iplayed with him. it was really great to see the kids having such a great time in the area that they live in. i love seeing all the kids so happy and it just totally fills me with joy!

Hi I am Emily Salzman. My team went to the salvation army and served f ood to the people that came. W e made the food and got to know some of the people that we were serving. We came back and prayed for a while and then went to VBS after getting icecream from dairy queen. We then came back to hangout and then had worship and then everyone cryed alot.

Hi, This is Jake Eshleman. My team went to the nursing home today and we hung out with all the old people, and did our drama for them.  After that we ate lunch with them, ( We had this cheeseish stake thing it was “interesting”).  Then we went to help out at the brown building i used the chop saw f or alittle, and then i painted. After that we came back to the net building and had worship and we all cried. Then we hung out downstairs for like 20 mins. and went to bed.

Hi Gang,
It is Monday night at 10:22 PM and the kids are attempting to go to bed. We had a long day and we just returned at 9:30 PM from worshipping at the Brown House. That is a home down on “The Island” that was recently acquired by Fishbone Ministries and used for ministering to the neighborhood. Thanks for your prayers. They are moving mountains out here in Butler. Our five groups were dispersed in different areas in the neighborhood. God is stirring the kids’ hearts and already revealing His love to them and through them. They spent their time today f eeding the hungry, playing with children, visiting the elderly, working on a home, doing drama, praising God, etc, etc, etc.

Parents, you have amazing kids and God is using them. You have done a great job raising them and thank you for entrusting them to God and us. We’ll be in touch.

Peace, Chris Bonner
